1989
|
Developed and programmed in Basic an
application for the analysis of incoming / outgoing
mail whilst in the forces. The application I believe
is still used to this date and resulted in quick
recognition and fast promotion. On leaving the Army I
was responsible for the day to day running of a
medium size Forces Post Office. I was chosen to
captain my Regimental Rugby team.

1991-1996
|
I became the top producing financial
adviser of 25 worldwide employees in my first year of
the job (having started in March). I was consistently
within the top 3 producers which produced 70 % of all
business throughout my time with JBI Asset
Management. I was promoted to area manager (sales)
for JBI in 1994 and was responsible for the
management and practical sales training of a 5 strong
sales team covering north Germany. I was also
involved in the research and development of a unique
household contents insurance designed for the forces
market.

1996 - July 2000
|
Responsible for the development of 2
insurance products including proposal form,
promotional literature and comprehensive policy
wordings. Further details can be furnished upon
request. I am also responsible for all company
computer systems and their maintenance and have
brought the company online with a self designed and
maintained website.

July 2000 - Date
|
Quickly promoted from Partner Management to a new
position of Manager, Technology Alliances. Maintained
excellent business relationship with representatives
of standing Technology Alliance partners (Oracle,
SUN). Negotiation OEM / ISV agreements and take an
active role in the acquisition of new Technology
Alliance partners (BEA, IBM). Assessment of 3rd party
software for integration in our own product and
prepare our own product for integration with other
branded software products.
